Building Professional Capacity
The over-arching goal of the Building Professional Capacity portfolio is to create opportunities for teachers, vice principals, principals, directors, managers, (really anyone in a formal or informal leadership role) to develop their leadership capacity. We do this by offering opportunities both at the district and school level to reflect and work on their leadership growth. We are using these opportunities to identify and support emerging leaders, build the capacity of our current leaders and to build opportunities to lead that will foster succession planning at all levels of formal leadership ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. As our Building Professional Capacity Team supports the growth of formal and informal leaders, we continue to identify needs within the district and respond to these opportunities in a variety of ways.
